Practice Areas
Personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation, insurance litigation, expert witness coordination, and mass tort cases all regularly require access to DICOM imaging evidence — and PostDICOM is built to handle all of them, regardless of practice size or specialisation.
Organise imaging evidence for motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, and other injury claims. Share X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans with your medical expert witnesses directly from the browser.
Store and manage all imaging studies related to the alleged standard-of-care breach. Share studies with reviewing physicians and expert witnesses with time-limited, password-protected access.
Document pre- and post-injury imaging for workplace injury claims. Keep the full imaging timeline organised by claimant so your experts and opposing counsel can access exactly what is needed.
Manage imaging evidence for disputed insurance claims. Generate secure links for independent medical examiners and set expiry dates that align with examination deadlines.
Send a single link to your medical expert. They open the studies in any browser, review the images, and deliver their opinion — without installing DICOM software or creating an account.
Manage imaging evidence across dozens or hundreds of claimants from a single account. Organise by plaintiff, share in bulk, and track access without losing control of who has seen what.
How It Works
Upload the imaging evidence, organise it by case, and send a password-protected link — your expert opens the full study in their browser with no IT support or software installation required.
Upload DICOM studies from a CD, USB drive, or hospital download — directly from your browser. Attach related medical records, reports, and documents to the same case folder. Everything is stored in encrypted cloud storage.
Create a folder for each case — named however your practice manages files. Subfolders let you separate imaging by date, body region, or provider. Rename and reorganise at any time without breaking existing share links.
Generate a password-protected link with an expiry date matching your review deadline. Send it by email. Your expert clicks the link, enters the password, and opens the full study in their browser — on compatible PCs, Macs, and tablets, without additional software.
The expert reviews imaging in the full PostDICOM viewer — with zoom, window and level, measurements, and MPR tools. Access expires automatically on the date you set. You can see how many times the link was accessed.
Platform Capabilities
Law offices need case-based folder organisation, password-protected expert access, time-limited share links, access tracking, anonymisation, and encrypted storage — PostDICOM provides all of these in one platform.
Create a folder for each client or case — named by matter number, client name, or incident date. Add DICOM studies, PDF medical records, and supporting documents to the same folder. Each folder has its own share link, password, and expiry date.
Generate a password-protected link for any case folder. Your expert receives the link by email, clicks it, enters the password, and reviews the full study in their browser — on compatible PCs, Macs, and tablets. No additional DICOM software, no account, no disc required.
Set an expiry date on every share link. Access automatically stops on the date you choose — after deposition, after trial, or after the case closes. No need to manually revoke access to dozens of old links.
See how many times each share link has been accessed. Know when your expert opened the study — useful for tracking review progress, confirming delivery, and documenting the chain of access.
Use the built-in anonymisation tool to securely remove identifying identifiers — name, ID, date of birth, address, accession number — and strip out proprietary private tags. Then, share with an independent medical examiner or review panel. Anonymisation is optional and applied per study when you need it.
Attach PDF hospital records, surgical notes, pathology reports, police accident reports, JPEG images, and MP4 video evidence to the same folder as DICOM studies. Everything your expert needs is in one link — not scattered across emails and file-sharing services.
Expert Witness Access
No — your expert receives a password-protected link by email, clicks it, and the full study opens in their browser immediately, with no software to install and no account to create. DICOM CDs are a common source of delay in expert review: experts receive a disc they cannot play on a modern laptop, or spend hours installing DICOM viewer software. PostDICOM eliminates both problems.

FAQ
PostDICOM stores DICOM files from all imaging modalities — CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, PET, mammography, fluoroscopy, and others. Alongside DICOM studies, you can store PDF hospital records, surgical notes, pathology reports, JPEG images, and MP4 video evidence in the same case folder.
No. Your expert receives a link by email. They click it, enter the password you set, and the full study opens in their browser — Chrome, Firefox, or Safari — on compatible PCs, Macs, and tablets. There is no DICOM viewer to install, no account to create, and no CD to handle. This removes a common source of delay in expert review.
Yes. When you generate a share link you set an expiry date. The link stops working automatically on that date — after a deposition, at the close of discovery, or when the case settles. You do not need to manually revoke access. If you need to extend access you can update the expiry date at any time.
Yes. PostDICOM tracks how many times each share link has been accessed. This lets you confirm that your expert has opened the study, document the date of first access, and follow up if the link has not been opened before a review deadline.
Yes. You can generate separate share links with different passwords, expiry dates, and permission settings for different recipients. For an independent medical examiner or opposing expert, you can optionally anonymise the study first — removing patient identifiers before sharing.
PostDICOM includes a built-in anonymisation interface. You can easily remove identifying DICOM fields (Patient Name, ID, Date of Birth, Accession Number) and strip out proprietary private tags.
Yes. From the Small Firm plan onwards, multiple user accounts share the same PostDICOM storage pool. Each user manages their own case folders and share links. You can also create user groups by practice area — for example, separating the personal injury team from the workers compensation team — with separate folder access.
You create folders named however your practice manages files — by client name, matter number, incident date, or any other convention. Subfolders let you separate imaging by body region, date of scan, or treating provider. Each folder has its own share link, password, and expiry date. Folders can be renamed and reorganised at any time without breaking existing share links.
Yes. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2 or 1.3 over HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Share links are password-protected, can require Two-Factor Authentication, and expire automatically on the date you set. PostDICOM holds CE Mark Class IIb certification as a medical device, ISO 13485 quality management, and ISO 27001 information security certification.
PostDICOM is architected to support HIPAA and GDPR-compliant workflows. When you create your account you choose a data storage region from 12 Microsoft Azure locations. Client medical data is stored in your chosen region and does not leave it. Access controls, encryption, and audit logging are built in.
Yes. The Ultimate plan includes a REST API that can connect PostDICOM to your case management or document management system. This allows automated case folder creation, share link generation, and access log retrieval without manual steps in the PostDICOM interface.
You control when data is deleted. You can archive a case folder by removing share link access without deleting the underlying data, or permanently delete all studies and documents for a closed matter. PostDICOM does not automatically delete data when a case is inactive. Your account record is retained for accounting purposes only after cancellation.
Yes. All plans include a 7-day free trial with full access to your selected plan's features. We use Stripe 3D Secure authentication at sign-up to verify your card — this is a €0 authorisation. You are not charged until your 7-day trial expires, and your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled. You can easily cancel any time before the trial ends.
7-day free trial. No charge until it expires, and your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled. No additional software to install for viewing or sharing. Upload a case, set up a share link, and send it to your expert before end of day.
